52 Weeks of Mail →
I’m a little late on this since it starts tomorrow, but I’m doing it. The goal is to send just one card or letter through the mail each week. I appreciate e-mail, etc. as much as anyone, but I still love to get handwritten letters or postcards in the mail! I really enjoy writing them, too.

I’m still not thrilled with any of the Tumblr themes I’ve tried. Nothing wrong with them, they’re just not right for me, I guess. The ones I’ve seen that I like are all premium ones that I’d have to pay for. Since I update approximately once every 15 years (ok, slight exaggeration there, but still) I’m not sure it would be worth it.

Off to a Great Start
Well, that was nice. The first day of Holidailies and Tumblr was down! It did come back at some point yesterday, but we had company all evening so I didn’t get a chance to post.

Considering the way I felt when I got up yesterday morning, I really can’t believe I lasted this whole time. I keep thinking I’ve skipped a post somewhere in the last couple of hours. I’m almost positive I haven’t but I keep thinking it for some reason.
I just had breakfast, so, when this is over all I have to do is move about 3 feet from where I am now and fall into bed! I’m so looking forward to it!
Morning
It’s been morning for awhile, of course, but I can see daylight now. I’m getting hungry so I’m going to go see what I can find for breakfast.
Music
I’m listening to iTunes now, but it’s not exactly helping. I’m not really in the mood for anything loud, heavy, etc., but something really relaxing doesn’t seem like such a great idea either. iTunes on shuffle doesn’t seem capable of giving me anything in between.
Two more hours! I hope I can keep my eyes open. It’s getting harder by the minute!
Jinxed
I think I jinxed it by commenting in my last post about time going fast. The last half hour dragged by SO slowly!
I finished watching “Up.” As I predicted, it made me cry again. It’s not sad, really; I don’t know what it is. If you’ve seen it you probably know what I mean.
Just three more hours to go now! I’m getting ridiculously sleepy. It doesn’t help...

Time started really dragging for a little while, but it seems to be going fast again now. That probably won’t last, though.

I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to make it through this, but I think I can manage four more hours. I’m very tempted to go change into my pajamas, but I’m kind of afraid to get too comfortable.

Five more hours to go! Watching “Up” is a good reminder of why it’s a good thing I don’t wear mascara. Movies don’t make me cry that easily usually, but the beginning and a scene toward the end of this one will do it! I’m going to go get back to watching it now.

Six hours to go now! Comments are still impossible, unfortunately. I should just remove the Comment option from my posts, but I keep forgetting to do it. I wish I’d known about it before this started so I could’ve either fixed it or used something besides Tumblr. I do love Tumblr, but not having comments during this kind of sucks.

I’m still watching “I Survived.” I’m normally not sleepy at this time of night - I don’t get off work until 10:00 PM - but I am tonight. I think I didn’t get enough sleep last night and then got up too early this morning. I hope I can manage 9 more hours! I think I can.

I should’ve come up with some sort of plan for my posts here. I say every time I do this that next time I’ll have a plan, but I never do.
I’m contemplating a trip to the video store, but it’s hot outside! It’s about 101 right now. I hate summer weather. I’d much rather deal with snow than this heat!
