I’m still not thrilled with any of the Tumblr themes I’ve tried. Nothing wrong with them, they’re just not right for me, I guess. The ones I’ve seen that I like are all premium ones that I’d have to pay for. Since I update approximately once every 15 years (ok, slight exaggeration there, but still) I’m not sure it would be worth it.

I had a weird dream last night. I was babysitting a co-worker’s child. They were about to come by to pick her up and I couldn’t find her! Eventually I found out from someone on Twitter (?!?) where she was, but then I couldn’t figure out how I was going to get her back to my house before my co-worker got there. I woke up then so I don’t know how this would have turned out.

It’s cold and rainy outside today. Might be a good day to watch “Alarm” on Netflix if my internet connection will stop going off every few minutes!

Well, that was nice. The first day of Holidailies and Tumblr was down! It did come back at some point yesterday, but we had company all evening so I didn’t get a chance to post.

I don’t know where this 30 Days of Truth got started, but I’m going to try it. I won’t be doing it every day or answering every question, but I’ll do some of them. It might help me when I’m stuck for something to write about.

Day 1: Something you hate about yourself: I’m very, very shy. A lot of people who aren’t shy tend to not understand it. My grandmother, for example, keeps telling me I should just be more outgoing, talk to people, etc. She cannot understand that it’s not that simple! I wish I could  make myself be more outgoing, but I can’t. I can’t explain it but it just does not work that way. It’s one thing I’d definitely change about myself if I could.

I’m going to get this posted before the day is over - it’s nearly midnight.

Despite being completely unsuccessful the last couple of times I did this, I’m signing up for Holidailies again this year. I think I should at least do better at the daily posting this year, since my work schedule doesn’t suck anymore and actually leaves me time to do something with my day other than work! Participants are supposed to post something every day from December 6th to January 5th (I think; I’ll have to go back and check to make sure January 5th is the last day). I want to get into the habit of posting, if not daily, at least more often. I’ve said that before and then it doesn’t happen. Maybe this year will be different. We’ll see how it goes, I guess!

Yes, I’m still alive. I just keep spending so much time looking at everyone else’s posts that I don’t get around to posting anything of my own. I’m going to try to change that, though.
